EDT, better known for their Wasichana Wetu Wafaulu project in Kenya is a non-profitable organization whose focus is empowering young girls through education enrollment.

Project Brief

Design a secure and dynamic website that has a blog feature. There was also a special request to ensure the website had disability features.
The Asher Group Ltd Team designed for this client a website that had disability-friendly features to allow for easy reading and use by different target audiences. We also offered hosting and domain services for the client. We also worked closely with the EDT team to integrate an interactive blog feature that would allow the resource persons to post on the projects currently ongoing as well as the impact and motivation behind their initiatives.

The team was also trained to be able to independently make continuous updates on the website and engage with their audience. As an additional value addition, AGL developers integrated the website with social media pages for better engagement and re-redirection of traffic on both sides. We have also included the subscriptions feature to allow users in to get updated articles and notifications on new developments. As has become a requirement, we ensured the website had multiple security features, including installing an SSL Certificate for client data protection.
