This was an exciting project in the ecommerce space.

Project Brief:

The client needed a dynamic and responsive online store to sell their large electronics inventory to a wider audience out of the Nairobi and Nakuru regions.

As there was an existing website, this was a redesign assignment; We first backed up the content on the previous website before starting the overhaul. After a technical and UX review, the Asher Group team of developers identified weaknesses of the previous website and worked with the best eCommerce shopping platforms to solve major issues that had been identified including, easing the navigation through the site, adding call to action buttons that reduce the journey a client takes to make a purchase, adding more content on each listed item to help customers make better-informed decisions as well as training the client to keep the website updated for the daily visitors.

The user interface is a major selling point for e-commerce platforms. With our experienced team of developers and through constant client feedback, we redesigned the website into a more visually appealing platform that has helped the client improve sales from new visitors.

Because transactions are happening online and client information is shared, security has always been a priority and we are proud to confirm there has been no breach of client data and information since our engagement. We are on a continuous partnership with the Obee Online Shop to optimize the website to generate more user traffic and increase sales.
